CAADP is working to reduce diesel pollution 75 percent by 2015, consistent with CT Special Act 05-07 and the 2005 Connecticut Climate Change Action Plan. CAADP also advocates for leading by example by cleaning up high exposure public fleets, such as transit buses, school buses and equipment used in large state construction projects, and for developing an in-state funding stream to support diesel mitigation.

CAADP is currently working with stakeholders to implement CT Public Act No. O74, which commits $10 million over a two-year period to purchase and install pollution control devices on all of the school buses suitable for retrofitting in the state (approximately 3,400).
