ENE analyzed the impact of the proposed Maine Citizens for Clean Energy ballot initiative. The analysis includes consideration of two possible scenarios that use different cost and energy savings projections. In both cases, the initiative will reduce the cost to Maine ratepayers compared to the status quo over the long term.
ENE’s analysis is based on conservative assumptions that come from projections made by others in the industry, including Central Maine Power, the Maine PUC, and a peer-reviewed 2009 analysis by ENE.
