ENE testimony in favor of An Act to Establish Climate and Energy Planning in Maine (LD 1333).
The bill asks state agencies to address two questions in their long-term planning, project and licensing decisions: (1) likely energy use and emissions associated with a project and how they can be feasibly reduced; (2) how new infrastructure will be impacted by expected changes in the climate.
